Title VII of the Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination and harassment at work based on Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Disability, and National Origin. State laws also protect individuals from being discriminated against and harassed at schools and public places.

The Pregnancy Discrimination Act prohibits sex discrimination on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act of 2022 expanded the rights of pregnant workers. You should not have to choose between a job or your pregnancy.
